Consciousness and Inadvertent Isolation

It gets lonely at the top, for those who have *realized higher* than convention permits.

The more Awakened one becomes, the more difficult it becomes for folks of tradition to *bond* with you. Folks can't figure out where you're coming from or understand your true intent.

This is something I have personally struggled with for decades. I am so often misinterpreted for my heartfelt intent, people get suspicious, feel intimidated around me, and it breaks my heart. About 25 years ago, two different new friends, a year apart, who never ever met each other, told me the exact same thing: "You are soooo exhausting to be around!" :(  That really hurt, because I was just being myself, and I'm a very down-to-earth person by nature.  Problem is...for me to tell anyone who I really am, I have to inadvertently tell them who they really are.  It's not intent-ional.  It's just how the universal physics are set up.

Someone once suggested "The Heart Treasure of the Enlightened Ones." Wonderful book, if only those folks could have stepped out of the pages once in a while to allow me to share my own experiences with it.  You know, someone to talk to, have a conversation with!

I've been at this since I was 3 years old.  That's a long time to be lonely and isolated. :(
